DJ Khaled Sued Over "I Got The Keys"
// Added Feb 10, 2017
DJ Khaled‘s hit track with Jay Z and Future features stolen property, according to a producer who’s suing over beats in "I Got The Keys."
The mogul was sued by producer Chris Hill who claimed he met Khaled in October 2008 at an Atlanta nightclub, according to an article on Thursday by TMZ.
Hill said he produced the beat in March 2008 and it appeared in his Chris Hill Beats [Gangsta Boogie Vol 2] before he gave Khaled a CD of it at the Atlanta club. Hill says he never heard a peep from Khaled – then lo and behold, eight years later, ‘Keys’ dropped.
Hill is suing Khaled, Sony Music and the various producers of the track for a cut of the massive profits "I Got The Keys" made.
